Let’s talk about Adaptation and Mitigation. Following are some questions from earlier weeks to consider (no additional reading beyond what we’ve already done):
What is the magnitude of natural systems changes as temperatures increase above 2 degrees C?
What human systems impacts are likely to result?
Explore how dramatic you expect changes to global economy and society will be over the course of your lifetime
How effective do you think the COP and IPCC groups have been?
Which sectors will have to change the most to achieve Net Zero by 2050? By how much?
Which countries will have to reduce emission, by how much, and when?
Discuss various ClimateTech sectors and their opportunities and tradeoffs including stages of growth, risks, policy requirements, opportunities, financing, etc.
